Aimee is a wonderful teacher and person. My easily frustrated son flourished under Aimee, benefiting from her patience, sense of humor and gentleness. We
recommend Aimee enthusiastically to anyone.

Aimee is a wonderful teacher and violinist. She taught my son Daniel for 5 years starting at age 3.  She is extremely effective  and has high standards, yet does her job with warmth and a sense of humor.  She makes learning the violin fun. Every child will feel good about themselves after a lesson with Aimee, no matter where they are.  She knows how to collaborate well with parents, too.   My son commented recently that Aimee is really beautiful on the inside.  The combination of this inner beauty,  commitment to each student  and her amazing skills as a violinist make her a rare find.

Our daughter Amanda began studying the violin with "Miss Aimee" 2 1/2 years ago at age 3.
It takes only one lesson to see that Aimee clearly loves working with children.  Her interactions with Amanda have always been very positive and supportive, never threatening or intimidating. The environment Aimee creates recognizes accomplishment as it builds the child's self-confidence.
Amanda has progressed steadily under Aimee's tutelage and she very much looks forward to her weekly lesson.
As non-musician parents, she has also been very responsive to our needs, most recently helping us choose a new violin for Amanda.
Our experiences with Aimee has been most rewarding and we would strongley recommend her as a violin teacher to anyone -child or adult.  You'd be hard pressed to find better!

Sincerely,

"Aimee has made such a wonderful connection with my daughter. Aimee's tremendous warmth, upbeat approach to learning, and her obvious passion and skill as a teacher and performer has made it easy for my daughter to maintain her commitment to the violin.  Aimee makes serious learning fun - my daughter has made terrific and rapid progress under her tutelage and has enjoyed every moment of instruction."

Thank you for everything!

I never wanted to quit her. She always wanted to be busy and work with a lot of kids. And a lot really liked her. I really liked her too. And so she is a good teacher. And I hope you like her too.

Aimee has been an effective and positive teacher for our six year old daughter.  For the past three years both my daughter and I have enjoyed working with Aimee who deeply cares about her students, and is committed to finding and tailoring her approach to what best suits a students needs.  In addition to this wonderful trait, Aimee is also exceptionally orgainzed;  each lesson with Aimee ends with a written, detailed lesson plan for home practice between private lessons.  The musical growth of daughter is noteworthy but more importantly she continues to love music.

As an older adult beginner with low expectations of my ability to learn violin at this point in my life I have found Aimee to be incredibly encouraging; skillful in helping me to overcome problems; patient with my struggles- and just an all around wonderful teacher. I have progressed much further than I expected. The fact that she is a very warm, caring and non-judgmental person, in addition to her terrific teaching skills, have enabled me to keep studying.

I have also had years of opportunity to watch her work with my 3 grandchildren, whom I have taken to many, many lessons. They have benefited tremendously from her strong teaching skills, professionalism and her personality, and are all doing extremely well on their instruments. In addition, their mother has also been taking lessons from Aimee, and, although she had only taken lessons for three or four years as a young child, she was able to play the Bach Double Concerto for Two Violins with her eleven year old son, in a recent concert. So three generations of our family have benefited from Aimee's expertise as a violinist and teacher.

I have attended many student recitals and have noted that all of the students from Aimee's studio are very well prepared, poised and confident. Faculty recitals have revealed Aimee to be a most excellent, professional violinist, which no doubt helps her to teach so well. This is something that is especially necessary and noticeable with her more advanced students. In short I would strongly recommend Aimee as a teacher for any student, young child to adult.

"I would entrust any child with any level of ability to Aimee Morrill. Her teaching expertise in Suzuki method is extensive in knowledge and technique. She is consistent in her kind and patient demeanor while she invokes enthusiasm and imparts the joy of playing. I can't speak highly enough of Aimee Morrill. She is a first class teacher with the highest of professional standards and conduct."
